Indoor navigation generator

1. Floor

Floors without nodes can be opened for Analyse floor image; Analyse (3D and navigation) needs a floor that has nodes.
Rich 3D also unlocks the object library: drag objects onto the generated floor.

    Furniture review

Suggested furniture is placed by rules from room names and categories. It is not a record of what is in each room. Click an item in the 3D view to approve it, click an approved one to reject it.
      Download approved 3D
The approved 3D file contains only approved and hand-placed items; undecided suggestions are left out.

      Object library

Drag an object onto the floor view. The outline shows where it will stand: green fits, red breaks a rule (room, door swing, navigation path, overlap). A red object can still be kept.

      Placed object

Drag the selected object in the view to move it. Keys: R rotates, Delete removes, Esc deselects.

        Placed on this floor

Placed objects are saved in a local file for this floor and are part of every rich export.

          Room editor

          Doors (suggestions only)

Three lasso modes, one workflow: pick a mode, drag a loop, check the preview, adjust, confirm. Room lasso: choose Snap to walls (red) or Use my outline (orange); you can switch back later. Door lasso: draw a small loop around a doorway; the nearest wall opening or door symbol inside it is proposed with its width and direction. Corridor lasso: makes a walkable area that is kept apart from rooms. A door suggestion (yellow ?) is only a suggestion: Accept it (green), Reject it, or drag it. Doors never connect rooms by themselves. Drag a room to move it, drag a corner to reshape it, double-click an edge to add a corner, right-click a corner to remove it. Shift = no snapping. Scroll to zoom, drag the background to pan. Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y undo / redo, Delete removes the selection, Esc cancels.

          2. Navigate

Click an orange room marker in the view to set From, then To.
